the world could be too loud nowadays. It seems that everyone has something to say to anything and everything. It appears to be that everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. That someone must always voice out. At anything. At any time. Everybody’s speaking. And yet nobody’s listening, anymore.
Has everyone forgotten the word ‘ to listen’ nowadays? Why is no one ready to take a step back, sit and hear out for a second? Why are we so obsessed with speaking our narrative? For what? Validation? For people’s approval and thumbs up? Does our value really rely on what others perceive of us? If we proved our point, does their applause build us? If this is what the world is making us believe now, this is pathetic.
And here I am proving a point too. Just kidding! But seriously, I hope that the words that flow right from here would remind us that there’s so much to just letting yourself be drowned by the noise or be so loud yourself too. Sometimes winning battles in silence is far better than proving yourself to everyone that you are right. That the unspoken narrative is the loudest truth. Eventually the truth will prevail. Time will always be the good teller of it. Sometimes holding your truth to yourself is way more braver, knowing that you’ve got no one to please if it gets untold. There’s a certain peace in accepting that not every story needs an audience. It exists for you, and that’s enough. And that your identity and value isn’t based on somebody else’s view of you. May you be reminded that your worth is more than the world’s noise. Remember your worth is paid at the cross! You are so loved that Jesus has to die at that cross, for you.

It aches my heart as I write that last line. Oh how we could so easily forget our value when life throws something at us. Of how Someone was always there from the beginning loving us unconditionally and yet here we are drowning ourselves with babbles from time to time. We keep on pitying ourselves instead of giving ourselves grace. We keep on fighting against each other instead of speaking life for each other. We keep on invalidating the truth that we are loved just by being ourselves, without condition. We are loved and that’s the truth.
Sometimes holding your truth to yourself is way more braver, knowing that you’ve got no one to please if it gets untold. There’s a certain peace in accepting that not every story needs an audience. It exists for you, and that’s enough.
But always remember that you are already loved whether you get your applause from the crowd or not. Remember it’s not the crowd, but the crown of thorns that made you valuable. You are so precious in His eyes, always remember that.
It may be too tempting to win a war loudly. But always remember that you are already loved whether you get your applause from the crowd or not. Remember it’s not the crowd, but the crown of thorns that made you valuable. You are so precious in His eyes, always remember that.
